Health Care Reform Now Event
The AFL-CIO will play host to the event on Tuesday September 01, 2009 at their headquarters 4127 E Second St. in Dayton. The event runs from 1 to 2 PM. Please attend and show your support for President Obama and for Ted Kennedy's dream of health care as a basic right for all Americans.

Please note that our September meeting will be on Saturday September 9th 11:30 am at Burkey's Family Restaurant on Shiloh Springs Rd. Normally we meet on the first Saturday unless it is a holiday weekend. Hope to see you there.

Pancakes Anyone?
State Representative Roland Winburn will host a fund raiser on Thursday August 20 7:30 – 9:30 am. The event will be held at the Montgomery County Democratic Headquarters, 131 South Wilkinson Street in Dayton.
Representative Winburn promises a pancake breakfast like no other featuring special cake flipper Chris Redfern, Chair of the Ohio Democratic Party. A $25 donation is suggested.

It’s Kick Off Time!
Please join Trotwood Democrats for the kick off of the fall political season. Our first event is our Annual Picnic on Sunday August 23rd 5:00 PM at 503 W. Main St. in Trotwood. Club provides meat, condiments, beverages, cups, paper plates, and plastic ware. You bring a side dish, or a salad, or a dessert to share. Ants are not invited.
This will be an opportunity to meet the Democratic or Independent candidates for Trotwood City Council and Trotwood Madison Board of Education.
Our first regular meeting will be September 10th 7:00 PM at Trotwood United Church of Christ (TUCC) at 18 N. Broadway. Members of the club will be voting to endorse screened candidates for city council and school board members. Our October 8th and November 12th meetings will be at the same time and location. Our December holiday dinner will be held at TUCC on a Sunday evening TBA.
Save the date for our BIG event of the fall. The Trotwood Democratic Club 35th Annual Dinner will be held on Friday September 25th 2009 at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Montgomery County Democratic Headquarters, 131 South Wilkinson Street in Dayton. Discounted tickets for members will be on sale at our regular September 10th meeting. More detail to follow.
