Nina Turner Packed Them Into Hara October 25th

We had a huge crowd today at Hara to see Nina Turner, Jerry Springer, Omarosa, most of the state wide and local candidates for a Get Out The Vote Rally. It was so great to see so many Trotwood friends show their support for the 2014 Ohio Democratic Ticket

Nina Turner Coming To Hara Oct 25th

The Trotwood Democratic Club is proud to welcome Ohio Secretary of State Candidate Nina Turner to Trotwood Saturday October 25th at noon. The public is welcome to hear this inspiring State Senator as she makes the case to be our next Secretary of State at the Hara Conference Center 1001 Shiloh Springs Rd.

Appearing with Nina will be a few other local candidates. The Trotwood Democratic Club will be featuring Get Out The Vote information for the upcoming mid-term Election Day on November 4th.

In the legislature, Senator Nina Turner quickly gained a reputation as someone who will stand up for Ohioans everywhere—working to defeat Senate Bill 5, protect women’s healthcare freedom, and expand voting rights. Her work ethic and determination to improve the lives of her constituents earned the attention of her colleagues, who made her Senate Democratic Whip in 2012. For Nina, serving her constituents is truly a labor of love.

Nina is running for Secretary of State to expand ballot access and ensure that all Ohioans have opportunities to succeed. Because regardless of your political affiliation, every eligible voter deserves to have their ballot counted.

Nina recognizes that a high voter turnout in Trotwood is especially important this fall. Bring a friend to Hara and get fired up for Election Day. Nina is an inspiring speaker and should not be missed.

See You At The trotwood Block Party

Hi all,

Hope to see you at the block party today! It looks to be a perfect fall day. I think our booth is near the police and fire engines and close to the parks and rec booth. We have a number of candidates that will be there or dropping by. Fireworks and food trucks too. Deron Bell is the musical headliner. Can you tell I am excited!

Please come out and say hi. If you need to renew or would like to join us, we will have membership forms. We will not have cash with us though, but you can fill out the attached form and mail your membership to us.

Next up is the BBQ on the 27th, we need volunteers for voter registration for that and last but not least.

2015 is our local mayoral and city council elections, we will need all the help we can get to get our candidates elected. Hope to see you today!

White Donkey Auction April 6

This Sunday is the day. Our infamous White Donkey Auction! 5:00 pm. Come bid on the Donkey Beer Stein and many other items to raise money for our PAC that funds local candidates. Members are encouraged to bring an item to be auctioned off. It may be wrapped or unwrapped. Let's have fun and support our candidates at the same time. 

Hot dogs will be served.

Letter From Our New Club President

Greetings Democrats.

I would like to formally introduce myself. I am Andrea Foy, the new President of the Trotwood Democrat Club! We have some exciting things in store this year for the club and I invite you to join us in the near future at the Trotwood United Church of Christ located at 18 N. Broadway Street located at the intersection with Worley Ave. Unless notified we always meet the 2^nd Thursday at 7:00 pm.

Starting next month. The Trotwood Democratic Club is proud to announce our annual White Donkey Auction. Our event is Sunday April 6^th 5:00 P.M. We provide traditional Democratic beans and weenies plus snacks and beverages.

The proceeds from this auction go to our political action account, which allows us to support Democratic campaigns. To that end we are seeking your support for our event. You can support the Trotwood club by your attendance, by bidding on our auction items, and by donating items to be auctioned.

If you are unable to attend we’d love to have your donation of cash or of an auction item. Please contact me if you need to have your donated items picked up. My cell is 248-4765.

Next up, our May meeting will feature our City Manager, Mike Lucking, Chief Quincy Pope and Norm Essman from the CIC.
